Welcome to Sunshine Coast Parks Sunshine Coast Parks provides camping, picnic, leisure, and wedding services at BC Provincial Parks along the Sunshine Coast. These parks are accessed by BC Ferries from West Vancouver (Horseshoe Bay - Langdale route) or from Comox, on Vancouver Island (Little River - Westview route). Striving for the best park visitor experience is our focus. Meanwhile, preserving the parks so visitors come back time, and time again, to enjoy the natural beauty! Various outdoor activities can be enjoyed while visiting Sunshine Coast Parks. There are excellent mountain bike trails, ranging from easy for the beginner to highly technical for the experienced. Ocean kayaking in the Porpoise Bay Inlet is quite pleasant. Otherwise, for the adrenaline junkie, there is freshwater rapid kayaking at Skookumchuck Narrow (only recommended for the experienced). Canoeing is another option, eight lakes can be visited along the Powell River Forest Canoe route, which is a total distance of 57km. Great views can be seen from the Sunshine Coast Trail, an extensive network of trails located between Saltery Bay and Powell River. If you are interested in fishing, book an adventure with Kohody Pacific Adventures. Also, many interesting art studios, farmer markets, craft fairs, and outdoor musical performances are worth exploring too. Find out more by contacting the Sunshine Coast Visitor Centers. |
