Reservation: Porpoise Bay & Saltery Bay
The Sunshine Coast is a popular summer destination for both locals and tourists. Getting the perfect campsite is competitive, especially during holidays. This is why it is best to make a reservation for an idividual campsite, group campsite, or picnic shelter.
It may be possible to drop in and find a non-reservable campsite. If you choose this option, we advise arriving in the morning before check out time at 11:00 a.m.
We always do our best to accommodate when the campgrounds are full.
Individual Campsites:
Both Porpoise Bay and Saltery Bay accept individual campsite reservations. Advance booking is highly recommended. Please note, peak season is during July and August.
Group Camping:
Porpoise Bay has one group campsite available, which is steps away from the beach. Ideal for a family reunion, corporate event, not-for-profit organization, birthday, wedding, or youth group. In order to book a minimum of 15 adults (16 yrs and older), or 12 people for a youth group is required. Please note, holiday periods (long weekends) get fully booked quickly. The online reservations are now open.
Picnic Shelters:
Porpoise Bay has two picnic shelters available for reservation online. Popular for a family reunion, wedding, birthday, or youth group. One shelter is located close to the group site, and the other beside the beach.
